TC to Hillary: Leggo Your Ego!!!
A Tony Cartalemi Original.
Clinton’s campaign has new life. Clinton back on track. Clinton has big night. All jibberish.
The truth is that she won states she was supposed to win by huge margins yesterday. Great job by the Clinton camp. You managed to hang on and now will try to spin it as another Clinton comeback. In the words of Britney, no for real, are you kidding me? (No wonder there’s panic in the industry, I mean, please.)
She was supposed to erase Obama’s lead in delegates. That didn’t happen. In fact, when all the delegates are distributed, Obama will have approximately the same lead in delegates he had before the three primaries and one hybrid primary-caucus yesterday. How is that a victory? Mathematically, it is almost impossible for Clinton to make up the gap in delegates even if she drags this thing out until the convention.
Obama probably won’t even win Pennsylvania, but will still retain his sizable lead in delegates. He will win some in May and June, and Clinton will pick up some as well, but in the end, Obama will finish with more delegates.
How can Clinton then justify her nomination? Well, she will claim she won the big states. Great! One thing, you need 270 electoral votes to win the presidency, and that will be much harder for her to accomplish against McCain than it will be for Obama. Take a look at the swing states. She loses them all to McCain.
Senator Clinton, you can drag this out until the convention or you can can put your ego aside and do what’s best for the party and the country and unite behind Obama. It’s your choice. Do you really want to be the reason the country you love so much has to suffer another 8 years of the same failed Bush policies? I can guarantee you that is exactly what a McCain administration will be.

enough of the love affair with this nobody…the only thing that Obama will change is the pattern in the China Room.
Can someone please name 2 platforms that Obama is running on?

Very nice echo of the Republic talking point.
Why don’t you visit his website and look at his platforms. They are clearly highlighted.

@Tom
There are ample platforms that Obama is running on. A majority of his platforms are in line with typical democratic views such as civil unions and establishing a nationalized healthcare system.
Another one is getting out of Iraq. Personally i dont think we should pull out ASAP but we do need to find a way out. Bush says nearly everyday we will not run, we will not leave until we achieved victory. But we have no idea what victory in Iraq would be. Moreover this administration wants to leave permenant bases in Iraq. To me it sounds like there will never be victory just another launching point for another war with hmmm who….Iran? Syria? Well we have many choices there. And how much will that cost to maintain?? Well its not really a conservative thing to do since true conservatism is more concerned with smaller, limited government and keeping taxes low by keepy spending low. So its more neoconservative in thought but I digress.
Anyway, to me personally the single most important reason I support him is his foreign policy stances.
This current administration along with Hillary (she basically represents the status quo foreign policy wise) seems to forget President Teddy Roosevelt’s famous words “To speak softly but carry a big stick”, with regards to our enemies and other nations we are in conflict with. In fact they refuse to speak at all and just wave a mighty stick around and strike wherever possible.
However, Obama is much more willing to break the silience with our enemies which will finally break the status quo. He is also not soft and willing to use our military when neccessary.
