Britney Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, who was named co-conservator of the estate after the pop star’s mental meltdown last month, is still in charge of his daughter’s finances. An L.A. County Superior Court judge extended his temporary authority for another five months. Jamie Spears will remain in charge of Britney’s estate until July 31.

…and this is as exciting as it gets in all things Spears. Maybe this is a sign she’s straightening herself out and getting her life back on track. Here’s hoping!
