UPDATE: Mary-Kate Olsen was not in the apartment, but she apparently owns it. Ledger’s family as well as NYPD say his death was most likely an accident. Sources are speculating that it was an accidental overdose of prescription sleeping pills like Ambien.

Brokeback Mountain star Heath Ledger was found dead this afternoon in an NYC apartment, according to TMZ and other sources. Probable cause of death is a drug overdose. Rumors are flying that an Olsen twin was with him at the time of his death. Ledger was 28.

Ledger, who starred in the Patriot with Mel Gibson, 10 Things I Hate About You, and more, was the ex-fiance of Dawson’s Creek star Michelle Williams. He leaves behind a daughter with Williams, Matilda.

Move over Suri & Shiloh, there’s (going to be) a new baby in town! Super hott Matthew McConaughey is going to be a father, as his girlfriend (lucky bitch) Camila Alves is three months pregnant.

With the father being drop-dead gorgeous and the mother being a Brazilian model, no doubt this child will be beautiful!

The 38-year-old actor says he and his girlfriend are “stoked and wowed” by the news.

Congratulations to Christina Aguiliera and husband Jordan Bratman on the arrival of their bundle of joy! The couple’s first child, a boy named Max Liron Bratman, arrived January 11!

While Christina Aguilera checked into Cedars-Sinai hospital yesterday for her C-section, she has yet to give birth…so move over Xtina, because Nicole Ritchie just might beat you to punch, as the socialite JUST went into labor!

The 2004 Democratic nominee for President John Kerry has decided to endorse Barack Obama for president, leaving former running mate John Edwards out in the cold. Ouch!

The announcement is scheduled to come this morning at a rally at the College of Charleston. The man who lost a heartbreaker of an election to G.W. Bush in ‘04 has cited Obama’s ability to unite the country and create extensive change as his reasons for backing the would-be first black President of the United States.

If you remember, it was Kerry who gave Obama his first shot on a national stage when he chose him to deliver the keynote speech at the Democratic National Convention in ‘04. Was this the beginning of this political love affair? We cannot be sure, but it looks like the romance is now in full bloom.
