Kristi Yamaguchi was crowned this season’s Dancing with the Stars winner last night on show’s season six finale. Yamaguchi, whos partner was Mark Ballas, is the first woman to take home the shiny mirrorball trophy since season one’s Kelly Monaco. DWTS’s seventh season will premiere this fall. Those World Figure Skater Championships must really pale in comparision to this honor.

A new idol will be crowned tonight as the Battle of the Davids reaches its final showdown. While the judges leaned toward teen sensation David Archuleta last night (with Simon calling him a knock out, and Randy practically naming him the 2008 winner), David Cook still stands a chance at winning the competition. Simon appeared on Ellen this week and predicted Cook would be the show’s winner. Tune in tonight for Fox’s 19-hour long season finale as they milk every second and don’t announce the winner til 9:59:59 P.M.

Jessica Alba and the hot guy who knocked her up tied the knot on Monday during a ceremony involving no guests and no witnesses. (If two celebrities get married in a forest and no one sees it…did they really get married?…) Alba and Cash Warren are expecting their first child this summer.

And as Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz got married this weekend, sources says the newly-Wentz’s confirmed at the wedding that they are expecting a Fall Out boy or girl of their own. (If it is a girl, maybe daddy can share all his great makeup tips with her. He wears more eyeliner than both Simpson girls combined.) Mrs. Wentz’s sister, Jessica Simpson, was escorted to the not-so-Pubic Affair at the Simpson family’s California home by Tony Romo. The pair reportedly called it quits a few weeks earlier, but Jess’s rep told People magazine that the break up rumors are “not true.”

It’s official: Mariah Carey, 38, has confirmed her surprise wedding to actor Nick Cannon, 27. The couple had been dating for six weeks when Cannon, proposed on the rooftop of her apartment building. The wedding took place on April 30 at Carey’s home in the Bahamas. Cannon, wore a white suit by designer Balenciaga, and Carey wearing an off-white dress by Nile Cmylo and Christian Louboutin shoes. This is the second marriage for Carey and the first for Cannon.

According to People Magazine, Mariah said:

“We really do feel we are soulmates. I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me”

Reports are surfacing that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon tied that knot Wednesday at her home in the Bahamas.

E! has quoted Linda Cannon, a relative of Cannon’s:

After winning the Super Bowl ring in February, Eli Manning now has another ring to put on his finger — a wedding ring. The Giants’ quarterback, 27, tied the knot with his college girlfriend Abbey McGrew, 24, in Cabos San Lucas, Mexico on Saturday. About 60 family members and close friends, including Manning’s older brother Peyton, attended the intimate ceremony. A
reception on the beach followed.

Wonder if that is how the American gangster himself Jay Z began his vows as his secretly married Destiny’s favorite Child Beyonce Knowles during a private ceremony last Friday.

For the affair, the-now-former-Ms. Knowles flew in a reported $500,000 worth of flowers, including more than 100,000 white orchid. Beyonce wrote a poem professing her love to her groom, while Jay-Z also wrote a rap-style poem for his bride.

Lots of luck to the happy couple, but Jay Z, don’t you ever for a second get to thinking you’re irreplaceable…

According to some sources (ok, according to Star), Britney Spears secretly married boyfriend Adnan Ghalib.  Star says the couple married last month, although legality of the union is questionable as Ghalib is reportedly still married another woman.

American Idol runner-up (and J Records reject) Katharine McPhee has married her longtime boyfriend Nick Cokas in Beverly Hills on Saturday.

I don’t know that anyone really cares otherwise, but the interesting tidbit here is that she is 23 and he’s 42. Grosssssssssssssssssssss.
