Pitt, Jolie, Aniston to Host Academy Awards Pre-Party

Talk about awkward run-ins with your ex.
This year’s pre-Oscar party is scheduled to be hosted by Brad Pitt, his current love Angelina Jolie, and his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston. The party, held on February 23 and dubbed “The Night Before Party,” is a chance for Hollywood’s “brightest stars” (gag) to honor the Motion Picture and Television Fund.

While the unusual 3-some are supposed to host, there is some talk that Aniston’s “production schedule” may interfer with the party. (Um, what production schedule?…Really, I’m all about Team Jen, but has anyone heard of any movie news from her camp?) Might just be Jen’s way of bowing out of an awkward situation gracefully, but what a statement it would make if she went through with it!

Wonder if Oscar himself is Team Jolie or Team Aniston???

Radar reports that Paula Abdul made quite the scence over the holidays at LAX.
A source tells the Web site that Paula was hyperventilating and on the verge of passing out one minute, then yelling, screaming and full of rage the next. Reps for Abdul have not commented on the alleged outburst.

Should make for a very interesting season of AI, which kicks off January 15 and 16!

Got this video from another blog…enjoy!

Colbert and fellow Comedy Central star Jon Stewart both returned to the airwaves last night, after nearly two months hiatus due to the Writers Guild of America strike.

While the shows are back in business, Stewart claims he will not be doing “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” until the strike ends. For now, viewers will have to settle for “A Daily Show with Jon Stewart.”

‘The Daily Show with Jon Stewart’ is a show we do with our very creative team of field producers and correspondents and studio people and, of course, our writers,” Stewart said. “From now on, until the end of the strike, we’ll be doing ‘A Daily Show with Jon Stewart.’ But not ‘THE Daily Show.’”
