In true Spears family fashion, just when you are certain things can’t get any worse for them…..they do.

Recent reports from Star claim that the 18-year-old Casey Aldridge is not the father of the famous teen’s unborn child (lucky for him), but the that real father is an older man who could potentially face rape charges for impregnating a 16-year-old.

Sources quoted in Star say that the Spears family is paying Aldridge to act as the father.  While he is still older than Spears, his birthday falls a mere 26 days within the bracket to constitute statutory rape. Sources believe the actual father works on Spears’ Nickelodeon show, Zoey 101.

Does it get any juicier? What would we do without this train-wreck of a family?

She may have turned him down on I Love New York’s season finale, but when Tailor Made popped the question again for the reunion show, New York changed her tune and said YES! Sister Patterson must be thrilled.

NY Wedding? NY Newlyweds? I smell a spin-off!

Paris Hilton better brush up on the finer points of budgeting.  Her mega-rich grandfather, Barron Hilton, is donating 97 percent of his $2.3 billion fortune to charity.

The money will benefit the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, which funds projects that provide clean water in Africa, education for blind children, and housing for the mentally ill.  Hilton’s donation will raise the foundation’s its total value to about $4.5 billion.

 Insiders say the Paris’s behavior is the reasoning behind her grandfather’s decision, as sources close to the family say Hilton is embarrassed by his granddaughter’s lifestyle and believe she has given the Hilton name a bad rep.

Fergie is engaged to her long-time boyfriend Josh Duhamel.  While Fergie was recently quoted saying the couple was in no rush to wed, Duhamel recently popped the question and the dutchess said yes.

The royal affair will probably be nothing short of G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S.

Whether you’re a burnt-out rapper, a rock band’s frontman, an aspiring …uh… actress or even a bi-sexual model/actress/whatever, chances are you can get a reality show on either MTV or VH1.

After Public Enemy’s Flava Flav kicked it off with Flavor of Love, VHI soon followed up everyone’s favorite Flav-ette Tiffany Patterson in her own spinoff, I Love New York.  Next came Poison’s Bret Michaels in Rock of Love, and then MTV cashed in on the reality dating gravy train with A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila.

Just when you think they couldn’t possibly make another one, the network is announcing a new reality spinoff.

The show, aptly named “That’s Amore,” a nod to the bachelor’s Italian roots, will feature Domenico Nesci, a castoff from Shot at Love, who was born and raised in Milan. Fifteen bachelorettes will compete for Domenico’s heart, and the winner wiill travel to Italy to meet his mother. Set to air on Sundays, the series premiere is set for March 2, 2008.

Betwen The Hills, A Shot at Love, and the countless other “reality” shows MTV has launched (Next!, Date My Mom, Engaged and Underage…the list goes on….), unless the M now stands for Made-up-plots-and-dramz-that-we-are-supposed-to-accept-as-reality (ok, it’s a stretch), maybe MTV should consider renaming their station?

It’s been said the blogosphere over, but if anyone was going to give the Spears family name some good publicity, my money was surely on Little Sis Jamie Lynn. But I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the dysfunctional family tree, as Miss Zoey 101 herself is knocked-up!

What’s better — that the father of Miss Spears’ illegitimate child is 19, while she is a mere 16-years-old….OR that proud Mama Lynne Spears was penning a parenting book (which is now indefinitely delayed due to the recent turn of events)???
